Beyond Patriarchal Sex: My Personal Reflection

You know I wear many hats—tech exec, biohacker, and devoted intimacy advocate. But today, I want to share something much more personal. I recently engaged with a deeply moving project called Beyond Patriarchal Sex, and I knew I had to talk to you about it—woman to woman, mother to mother, lover to lover.
The Future of Sex Is in Our Hands
As someone who’s worked at the intersection of sexual wellness and human potential for decades, I see a fork in the road forming in our culture. On one path, there’s the slow but powerful shift toward relational empowerment and sexual sovereignty. On the other, a dark slide into a tech-driven, patriarchal model of sex and intimacy—one where connection is transactional and bodies are commodified.
We’re watching this unfold in real time. As a Silicon Valley veteran, I’ve seen what happens when the digital age accelerates dysfunctions faster than we can course-correct them. If we don’t step up our game—as educators, as mothers, as partners, and as women—the idea of patriarchal sex could become the default for future generations. Online. Isolated. Disconnected.
That’s why Beyond P.S. matters.
Why This Matters to Me
As the creator of 44+ educational programs and author of books like Sexual Soulmates, Revive Her Drive, and Relationship Magic, my mission has always been to give people tools for ageless, conscious intimacy. But there’s something uniquely urgent about this moment. We’re being called to not just teach techniques, but to model integrated, sovereign sexuality—especially to our sons and daughters.
That’s what drew me to this project.
Beyond P.S. isn’t just a discussion. It’s a somatic, psychological, and cultural inquiry into how we can reclaim sexual agency and infuse it with the sacred again. This project is led by the radiant Dévashi Shakti, creator of The Tigress® Path, a female tantric yoga system designed specifically for women’s bodies and psyches.
Dévashi’s decades of experience and thousands of client hours have made her a pillar in this field. Her work helps women come home to their erotic innocence, power, and wholeness. And I am so honored to be part of this initiative she’s leading.
